History
Many people claim to be the creator of t-ball. It is believed that it dates back to at least the 1940s and 50s and was created in the United States to help young children become familiar with baseball. Albion, Michigan and Starkville, Mississippi both claim to the the birthplace of t-ball. In 1958, Claude Lewis formed a t-ball league in Georgia and mailed instructions for the game all over the world. In the early 1970s, "Tee Ball" was registered as a trade mark and was already popular worldwide.
